This is an appeal from a judgment rendered on the trial of an inquisition of forcible detainer, found in a proceeding against the appellant for the recovery of the possession of a house and lot in the town of Augusta, which he appears to have occupied as the appellee’s tenant, and kept as a tavern since about the 1st of August, 1859.
