I. INTRODUCTION

Appellee and Cross-Appellant American Hat Company (AHC) sued Appellant and Cross-Appellee Wise Electric Cooperative, Inc., for negligence following a catastrophic grass fire that consumed roughly. 1,200 acres and was caused by an overhead service wire becoming disconnected at a Wise Electric utility pole.
