DOYLE, Justice.

This is a suit for damages arising from a tortious breach of contract. Appellant, Ariel Peniche (Peniche), sued Aeromexico, Ap-pellee, for not permitting him to continue to perform in accordance with the written agreement to which he and Aeromexico were parties. Rodolfo Fabre signed the agreement on behalf of Aeromexico, as District Manager. For the manner in which the agreement was terminated by Aero-mexico, through its Director for North America and Canada, Carlos Mario Gutierrez, Ariel Peniche, also sought damages for slander per se.
