The petitioner is a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the States of Hew York and Hew Jersey. It was formed December 1, 1906, by the consolidation of the Hudson and Manhattan Railroad Company and the Hew York and Jersey Railroad Company, which were incorporated under the laws of Hew York, and the Hoboken and Manhattan Railroad Company which was incorporated under the laws of Hew Jersey.
