United States v. Sonnenberg
Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
1Opinion of the Court
WOLLMAN, Circuit Judge.
Gordon Leroy Sonnenberg pleaded guilty to receipt of material involving the sexual exploitation of minors, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2252(a)(2) and 2252(b)(1). The district court 1 concluded that Sonnen- berg’s 1968 Iowa conviction for committing lascivious acts with children triggered a sentencing enhancement under § 2252(b)(1) and sentenced Sonnenberg to 262 months’ imprisonment. Sonnenberg challenges his sentence, arguing that the district court erred in applying his Iowa conviction as an enhancement. We affirm.
