SMITH, Judge.
Defendant appeals from his conviction by a jury of illegal possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, and his sentence by the court as a persistent offender to fifteen years imprisonment. We affirm.
Defendant raises two issues on appeal. We deal first with his contention the evidence was insufficient to support the conviction. Defendant was observed by two police officers as he was standing on a sidewalk next to his car.
