SEVERENS, District Judge.

The bill in this case was filed by the complainant, as receiver of the City National Bank of Green-ville, to establish the liability of the defendants, Foster and Anderson, who were directors of the bank, for negligence in the performance of their duties as such, which it is alleged has resulted in a heavy loss to the bank and its creditors. The bank was organized April 28, 1884, with a capital stock of $50,000. It suspended on the 22d day of June, 1893.
