Defendant Chicago Title Insurance Company (Chicago) issued a title insurance policy (the Policy) to Plaintiff IDC Properties, Inc.(IDC) in connection with IDC’s acquisition of rights, title, and interests in Goat Island South, a waterfront condominium development located in Newport, Rhode Island. This real estate has spawned numerous cases and controversies.
