From a parked position at the curb of a public street, appellant drove his automobile in a U-turn directly in front of another car, forcing the driver of the latter to apply his brakes abruptly to avoid a collision. A police officer, who had observed the maneuver, signaled appellant to a stop and asked for his operator’s license. Appellant produced the license and the officer, after examining it, requested the registration card for the vehicle.
