The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc., owns and operates a chain of grocery and provision stores in Baltimore City and the territory adjacent thereto. The stores which compose the chain are integrated as parts of one system or enterprise, and supplies found in one may be and are from time to time removed to another as it happens that the one or the other is understocked or overstocked.
