*35 {¶ 1} We affirm the judgment of the Twelfth District Court of Appeals dismissing the petition of appellant, Brian K. Alford, for a writ of mandamus.

{¶ 2} On November 17, 2015, Alford filed a petition for a writ of mandamus arguing that he is entitled to be released "from custody under the same terms and agreement as his original parole" because appellee, Ohio Adult Parole Authority ("APA"), failed to hold a hearing to determine whether he had violated the terms of his release within a reasonable time.
