At the township election of the town of Mackinaw held on the seventh day of April, 1931, appellant, Walter Porter, and appellee, Clarence P. Greening, were candidates for supervisor. The township of Mackinaw is divided into two election districts or precincts — No. 1 and No. 2. Upon a canvass of the returns from the two election precincts the canvassing board found and reported that appellant had received 364 votes for the office of supervisor and that appellee had received 377 votes, and appellee was declared elected to the office.
