hThe Plaintiff, Richard D. Barnett, appeals a trial court judgment dismissing, as untimely, his suit against Ace American Insurance Company (Ace), professional liability insurer of attorney Ernest L. Parker. For the following reasons, we affirm.

FACTS

The underlying facts of this case were set out by this court in its opinion in an earlier appeal, as follows:
