MEMORANDUM OPINION The estate and family of Amer Fakhoury sued the Islamic Republic of Iran for materially supporting Hezbollah, which allegedly took Fakhoury hostage and tortured him. The Court granted in part the plaintiffs’ motion for default judgment—concluding that Fakhoury had been taken hostage but not tortured—and ordered supplemental briefing on damages, to which the Court now turns.
