This matter came before me on September 23, 1986 for an assessment of damages and a hearing on attorney’s fees. The plaintiff, Long Island Trust Company, N. A., as the holder of a retail installment contract sued defendant Leonard Williams for a deficiency judgment. Williams had bought a used Cadillac from Potamkin in 1984, and Potamkin had assigned the contract to Long Island Trust.
