This is an appeal from a judgment of the trial court denying appellant’s application for release upon habeas corpus.

The facts appearing in the record are substantially as follows: Appellant, serving a sentence of life imprisonment, gave the statutory notice of application to the board of pardons at its quarterly meeting to be held October 7, 1936.
