Tbe plaintiff brings this action as administrator of tbe estate of J. O. Engen, deceased, to recover *517damages for personal injuries sustained by the deceased while a passenger on one of the defendant’s interurban cars and while going from Chippewa Falls to his home in Eau Claire. The deceased was standing in the vestibule in the rear end of the car, and while it was turning a street corner he was thrown off and suffered injury. The negligence alleged was the running of the car at an excessive rate of speed and the failure to keep the vestibule doors closed. The jury found that the…
