The defendant, McArthur Winfrey, appeals 1 from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of one count of possession of narcotics in violation of General Statutes § 2 la-279 (a), one count of possession of a controlled substance in violation of § 21a-279 (c), one count of interfering with an officer in violation of General Statutes § 53a-167a, and one count of tampering with physical evidence in violation of General Statutes § 53a-155.
