Dickinson brings this appeal from the denial of his plea in bar based on a claim of former jeopardy. See generally Patterson v. State, 248 Ga. 875 (287 SE2d 7) (1982).

On March 9, 1988, the appellant was involved in an altercation with his brother. The record does not disclose what exactly transpired during this altercation but does disclose that the appellant was arrested as a result of the incident and issued a “uniform traffic citation/accusation” charging him with violating a local ordinance prohibiting disorderly conduct.
