Introduction

Defendant Budimir Matek appeals from an order granting plaintiff Security Pacific National Bank a prejudgment attachment pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 483.010, subdivision (c).

Statement of Facts

In 1979, defendant invested money in a partnership known as Pacific Pride Fisheries, a venture for the conversion and operation of a former Navy ship, The Pacific Pride, as an ocean-going fish processing plant.
