A former employee and his employer both appeal a judgment from the district court awarding the former employee overtime wages in the amount of $6,410.50 and liquidated damages in the amount of $6,410.50.

FACTS

Bobby Odom was employed by Respiratory Care, Inc. (RCI) as a respiratory therapy technician from April 1991 until July 31, 1993. At the time Odom began his employment, RCI had a contract with Franklin Foundation Hospital to provide technicians and equipment to the Respiratory Critical Care Cardiac Department.
