ROGERS, Justice.

This is a suit for rent under two leases covering an oil filling station in the city of Shreveport. The leases were executed on July 11, 1928, and March 21, 1929, both to expire on August 19, 1938. The first lease calls for a rental of $200 a month and the second lease calls foi; a rental of $30 a month, or a total monthly rental of $230 for the whole property. The contracting parties were Montgomery Martin, the lessor, and Crystal Oil Refining Corporation, the lessee. On May 22, 1931, Montgomery Martin sold the property and assigned the leases to the plaintiffs. The lessee…
