The court approaches the examination of the questions involved on this appeal unembarrassed by the consideration that its decision will affect the title to the land sold «under the execution issued on the judgment in favor of the defendants and against the plaintiff. The redemption, on December 31, 1901, by Murdock, for and on behalf of the plaintiff, operated as a termination of the effect of the sale or a payment and satisfaction of the judgment (B. & C.
