¶1. A Tunica County jury convicted Fred Harrell of attempted aggravated assault, and the trial court sentenced him to six years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, followed by three years of post-release supervision. Harrell filed a motion for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, a new trial, which the trial court denied.
