Plaintiff brings this suit against defendant Standard Accident Insurance Company, a Michigan corporation, to recover for an alleged breach of the official bond of one Jack Altman, a duly elected constable of Sumpter township, Wayne county, Michigan, on which bond defendant was surety.
From the agreed statement of facts, it appears that a certain Ford automobile was stolen April 30, 1936, at Toledo, Ohio, by some undisclosed person, and the motor number changed.'
