OPINION

Clarence V. Johnston, a resident of Vernon Parish, Louisiana, filed this suit against defendants, Ford Motor Company, a Delaware Corporation and Auto Specialties Manufacturing Company, a Missouri Corporation with its principal place of business in St. Joseph, Michigan, for injuries he allegedly received on May 2, 1975, when a vehicle jack failed.
