The appellant, Joseph W. Haddock, brought suit in the Circuit Court for St. Mary’s County against the estate of Thomas Gerald Hill and the appellee, James B. Stewart, Jr., for injuries and property damage sustained by him in a three-car collision which resulted, he alleged, from an illegal automobile race between Hill and Stewart. On removal to the Circuit Court for Howard County the case was tried before a jury.
