Darrick Donte Wright appeals his conviction for possession of a firearm, arguing that (1) the trial court erred in admitting his postarrest statement, (2) prosecutorial misconduct deprived him of a fair trial and (3) he was denied effective assistance of counsel. He also challenges his standard range sentence on the ground that the trial court should have exercised its discretion to score his prior offenses as one in calculating his offender score.
