Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for King county, Ronald, J., entered October 3, 1910, upon the verdict of a jury rendered in favor of the plaintiff, in an action for personal injuries sustained by a bridge carpenter through the falling of a plank.

— Appeal from a judgment in favor of respondent for $3,000 for personal injuries, claimed to have been suffered by him while in the employ of appellant on July 6,. 1909. íhe respondent was employed as a carpenter, some three or four days before the accident, by one A. B. Conley, general foreman in charge of the construction of four transfer bridges or apron slips along the waterfront at Ballard, Washington.
