In an action to foreclose a mortgage, the defendant Chudi Chiejina appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Livote, J.), entered January 8, 2015, as, in effect, granted that branch of the plaintiff’s motion which was for summary judgment on the complaint and for an order of reference, denied his cross motion to restore the action to the mortgage foreclosure settle ment conference part calendar, and, sua sponte, in effect, directed the entry of a judgment of foreclosure and sale.
