I.INTRODUCTION

This is a medical negligence case in which plaintiffs Susan and Bruce Hanks allege that their son, plaintiff Jacob Hanks, suffered brain damage and other injuries on December 29, 2000 as a result of the defendants’ negligence in failing to perform timely blood tests that delayed an emergency Cesarean-section delivery of Jacob Hanks by 30 minutes.
