This case is presently before the Court on the motion of defendant Richard William Beidler to dismiss the indictment against him. The basis of defendant’s motion is that approximately ten years has elapsed since the commission of the alleged criminal offenses and that, therefore, the further prosecution of the case is barred due to the failure to provide him with a speedy trial.
