This was an action in the court below, brought on the 18th day of July, 1887, by Mrs. A. J. Hentig against J. W. Redden, asking that her title to four certain lots on Clay street in the city of Topeka be quieted, and that the defendant be forever barred from asserting any claim or interest to said lots or any part thereof. The defendant filed an answer containing a general denial, and also the plea of res adjudicata. The place of trial of the action was transferred from the district court of Shawnee county to the district court of Jackson…
