Claimant, Randy Wilson, sought benefits pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act (Act) (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq.) for injuries to his back suffered on December 20, 1989, while in the employ of Lasley Construction Co. (employer). The arbitrator concluded that claimant suffered only a minor back injury and awarded claimant temporary total disability benefits from December 22, 1989, until January 2, 1990.
