An action was instituted by defendant in error July 3, 1913, in the municipal court of Chicago, for a balance alleged to be due on accounts and bills receivable purchased by defendant in error under a contract whereby plaintiff in error guaranteed the payment of the balance due on contracts and accounts. On a trial before a jury in said court a verdict was rendered in favor of defendant in error for $2143.82. From the judgment entered thereon an appeal was taken to the Appellate Court, where the judgment of the municipal court was affirmed. The cause has been brought to this court on petition…
