These four cases grew out of the same automobile accident, were ordered consolidated and were *488tried together in the Circuit Court of Davidson County, Tennessee.
The accident happened on the Nashville to Smyrna highway where the old Murfreesboro road intersects the highway at or near Lavergne, in Rutherford County. John B. Davidson, an employee of the Eli Witt Cigar Company, was driving a car belonging to his employer and on its business at the time of the collision.
