MORGAN, Judge.

This original proceeding in mandamus was instituted in the Court of Appeals, St. Louis District; but, after the cause was submitted and an opinion was filed, that court “on its own motion pursuant to Rule 83.02” transferred the cause to this court for “the purpose of re-examining the existing law relative to the issues presented.” As the record reflects, such issues were highlighted by the differing opinions of the parties as to the extent, if any, the Wrongful Death Statutes, of either Texas or Missouri should control the disposition of a lawsuit pending in Missouri which…
