LANIER, Judge.

This action is a suit for damages in tort arising out of a two-vehicle automobile accident. The driver of one of the automobiles, Donald H. Willis, filed suit against the driver of the other automobile, Michael D. Letulle. Also made defendants were (1) Letulle’s liability insurer, Cumis Insurance Society, Inc. (Cumis), (2) International Longshoreman’s Association Local 3033, AFL-CIO (the Union), and (3) Willis’ uninsured motorist (UM) insurer, Allstate Insurance Company (Allstate).
