The first question presented by this document is to its-admissibility in evidence. The paper, as presented, is a certified copy of a document deposited in the General Land Office. By law, the copies of records-of all public offices and courts, certified under the band and seal (if there be one) of the lawful possessor of such record, shall be admitted as evidence where the records would themselves be admissible.
