Because events subsequent to the filing of this lawsuit have rendered it moot, we dismiss this appeal-

I. FACTS

In 1990, Gary Graham was a candidate for the office of county court judge for Citrus County, Florida, and Christopher Litras, a resident of Citrus County, supported Graham in his campaign. As part of his campaign literature, Graham paid for the printing of 5,000 postcards reading: “I am supporting Judge Graham because:_” The blank space allowed supporters to insert reasons for supporting Graham.
