LAND, Justice.. The plaintiffs, the widow and children of N. S. Tyson, deceased, claiming to be the owners in possession of a five acre tract in the Rodessa Oil Field of Caddo Parish, brought suit for slander of title against defendants, Mattie Adams Collins, Ella Adams Elder and Charles F. York.

Plaintiffs complain that defendants have filed for record certain contracts and deeds which affect plaintiffs’ title to the property in dispute, and pray that same be cancel-led, and for damages, and that defendants be ordered, either to disclaim title, or assert such rights as they may have, or claim…
