The Court approved a settlement of the direct purchaser class claims against Cal-Maine (the “Cal-Maine Settlement”) in November 2014. The “Settlement Class,” as defined by the Cal-Maine Settlement, included the Kraft1 direct action plaintiffs (“DAPs”), who were at all relevant times prosecuting their own lawsuit separate and apart from the direct purchaser plaintiffs’ (“DPPs”’) action.
