In this case, pro se plaintiff Sam Sloan accuses certain members of the United States Chess Federation (the “USCF”) of posting thousands of obscene messages under his name on an internet discussion forum (the “Issues Forum”), and propagating a sordid array of rumors that purportedly caused him to lose his bid for reelection to the USCF Executive Board (the “Board”).
