This case comes before the Court on a petition for habeas corpus filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner pled no contest to two counts of attempted aggravated robbery in state court, and was sentenced to 128 months imprisonment. Petitioner contends that the trial court violated the plea agreement and due process, that the district court deprived him of his Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment rights by violating the rule of Apprendi v. New Jersey, and that the State violated the ex post facto doctrine in applying a statute of limitations…
