The defendant, Merchants Row, Inc., appeals from a jury verdict for the plaintiff, 21 Merchants Row Corporation, awarding $3,000,000 for breach of a lease, as well as $150,000 for interference with contractual relations, and $150,000 for violation of G. L. c. 93A (1990 ed.). We granted the defendant’s application for direct appellate review, and we now reverse.
