This was an action on the case for certain alleged fraudulent representations in regard to certain stock of the Vermiont Marble Company, sold by the defendant to the plaintiff, wherein the plaintiff sought to recover not only what he had paid for the stock, but also all the assessments thereon paid by him, and interest on all said sums.
