Dear Senator Glover:

I am writing in response to your request for an opinion on the interpretation of Acts 398 and 547 of 2007. Each act relates to worker's compensation coverage. Specifically, Act 398 amends a provision in the law relating to residential building contractors that requires such contractors to obtain workers' compensation coverage. See A.C.A. §17-25-514.
