On August 17, 1953, Robert M. Beers filed a bill for divorce in which he charged his wife, Mary R. Beers, with cruelty and wilfully deserting him on March 4, 1952. He prayed for an absolute divorce *683and the custody of the two infant children. Mary R. Beers filed an answer and cross bill in which she denied the charges of cruelty and desertion on her part, and in turn charged her husband with desertion. She prayed for an absolute divorce, counsel fees, support for herself and two children and reimbursement for the sum of $21,500.00 that she alleged she had spent for hospitalization and medical…
