Mary A. Weller, the mother of Newton Weller, appellee, was living with her husband on a farm in Muddy Creek township, Butler county, Pa., in the year of 1893. According to her tes*492timony, she had lived on the same farm for thirty years prior to April 1, 1895. She had a life interest in the farm, under the will of her husband’s father.
W. H. Ifft was a merchant in the borough of Zelienople in the same county, and from time to time sold merchandise to Mrs. Weller for which she gave him a judgment note on November 27, 1891, signed by herself and her husband, amounting to…
