This suit arose over a franchise dispute between the named plaintiffs and the defendant who entered into New York contracts establishing “Jerry Lewis Cinemas” in designated territories in Georgia. Under the terms of each agreement, it was provided:
“ARBITRATION. Any controversy, dispute or question arising out of, in connection with, or in relation to this agreement or its interpretation, performance or non performance of any breach thereof shall be determined by arbitration conducted in New York City in accordance with the then existing rules of the American…
